News brief: Cayson’s parents decided on the surgery. Scheduled for July 18. That’s when this precious eight-year-old will have the mesothelial cyst on his diaphragm removed.
Prayer prompt: King of kings, you are mighty on your throne. Your holiness fills the heavens and rains on us. Thank you for loving Cayson and for guiding his parents to a decision. May your will be done and your perfection, your meticulous hand, be evident in this medical procedure and in Cayson’s recuperation. Request: Greg—a military Vet and paraplegic—is battling a different kind of war. He has an inoperable tumor on his spine that confines him to bed. The toll is great on him, his wife, and his family. Their hope is that Greg will finally get help from a VA care program. Spiritually, he and his wife deeply need God’s intervention to remove spiritual blinders and enslaving yokes so their souls can know and receive Jesus as their Savior.
Prayer prompt: Blessed King, please demolish strongholds of delay, barriers, discouragement, illness, and spiritual blindness, stubbornness, doubt. Adonai, you alone are Haggo’el (the Redeemer), Ha Kadosh (the Holy One). We stand on Deuteronomy 32:3-4: We proclaim your Name and declare your greatness. You alone are the Rock, your work is perfect, for all your ways are justice. You, GOD, are Lord of faithfulness who does no wrong, You are justice and righteous. May your just ways rise over Greg’s situation with the VA—and your mighty words of mercy slice through every obstacle, every bit of red tape, every loophole to bring him relief. Prayer prompt: The Heart of God. Beloved Father, you see the loneliness, the emptiness, and the sting of rejection that may flow at times through Deb’s heart. Show yourself in ways that comfort her, filling her to overflowing. Call people forward to fill in the gaps in her life so it’s completed by you and sweet fellowship from other believers. And may those familial relationships be healed, restored by your hand.
