Psalm 119 stirred within me for this prayer post. It continually speaks of His faithfulness, His Word, His statutes/testimonies. So every prayer request has a verse from it. May His Word elevate your own prayer time and as you are led by Him to pray for these who need God’s touch.
Here we stand, Lord, ready to serve, surrendered, listening, willing to learn. King of Glory, please grow our understanding of how to battle deeper, higher, in prayer with clearer spiritual sight so the enemy’s grip on these situations is weakened and removed. His strongholds, annihilated. His lies, evil sway, manipulative words and strategies, dismantled.

#1. UPDATE: ANONYMOUS
A fellow prayer warrior—Anonymous—continues to grow stronger after her cardiac procedure that brought her near Heaven’s door. She’s back at her home now, taking it easy and grateful for God’s hand in her life. Your love and prayer support meant much.
#2. UPDATE: MICHELLE
Michelle is feeling blessed. She’s regained some “distant” sense of smell—and doing better so far on her new injectable treatment for the nasal congestion that has contributed to her loss of smell, nasal congestion, asthma, and increasing allergies, lowered quality of life. Thank you, prayer family, for caring and lifting Michelle in prayer.
#3. UPDATE: SHIRLEY (“SHIRL”)
Christmas joy! Shirl is still going strong after her surgery to remove fluid on the brain so she can walk again—90% improved and walking well! She just needs a slight adjustment to the shunt. Prayer warriors, Shirl and hubby Bruce are praising God that miracles do happen—and for all your prayer support.

Psalm 119:125
I am your servant, give me understanding so that I may know your testimonies.
Possibly on the spectrum (ASD), L.Q. needs God’s strength, wisdom, and strategies on how to maneuver social issues and social demands at work and other venues. She lives, learns, engages, comprehends differently than other people. Even L.Q.’s elementary school daughter (who knows the Lord) needs help and counseling, fallout from the parental divorce, shared custody, and subsequent different spiritual influences.
PRAYER. Reliance on Him, His Word, His character. Who is there but you, God? Only you can sort these pressures, guide us along critical life roads strewn with land mines. Please, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), run deep in L.Q.’s soul, releasing and calling forth the clinical, physical, spiritual roadmap that she can understand and calmly, comfortably, assuredly follow and walk in. Jesus, please rise in and through all of this for your daughter and your GLORY. In your Name, Lord Messiah, we pray.

I opened my mouth wide and panted, for I longed for your commandments.
Our dear sister Maria is walking through a rough time but praising God for her fellow Christian friends who stand with her and encourage her. She is learning how to include God in her suffering.
PRAYER. His presence, His enduring Word, His understanding. Abba, we know life is sometimes filled with long stretches of deep valleys—health-related, financial, work, relationship issues. See how Maria is longing for you, welcoming you into her trials. Walk with her in new ways, holding her up, showing her how to lean on you throughout the wilderness journey where trusting you releases strength to take another step. Where it firms the ground beneath her feet. Please cup Maria’s face with your gentle but strongly faithful hands and raise her face to behold you, gazing into your eyes, overtaken by your shalom, rest, beauty. In your holy name, Yeshua, our redeemer.

Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to your Word.
Christine—a friend of one of our prayer partners—needs a liver transplant. Please pray she takes care of her health, her diabetes, and poor circulation.
PRAYER. His strength, His revival, His restoration. Mighty King, Christine is at that place many of us reach at various times—when we come to the end of ourselves and must place everything in your hands. As you call her to step out of the boat and walk on stormy waters, help Christine to sense your calming the raging wind and grab onto your hand, then tightly embrace you so you can lift her up, carry her through these uncertainties. May the power of the cross living within her be released, healing the situation, healing her body, restoring and elevating her soul. In Yeshua’s glorious name.

Let my cry come before you, Lord; Give me understanding according to your Word.
We continue to stand in the gap for Kari. She’s had cancer in the past (female anatomy) and now it’s growing again. In January she’ll be meeting with doctors so she can determine how she’ll treat this next phase.
PRAYER. His holy tent, His wings stretched, sheltering, defending. Redeemer, Restorer, we come before you, carrying the name of our sister Kari on our lips and on our heavy hearts. You alone know the course she should take. May your will become hers. Please cradle Kari in your Presence, your strength, your grace, your healing words, your love. Reign down your mercies on her, her children, her husband, her family. In Jesus’s faithful, powerful name.

Let my soul live that it might praise you; And let your ordinances help me.
Matt is 41 years old, bipolar with some emotional issues when not on meds. He’s back in a Utah city jail (mental health unit), 400 miles from our family. It’s as if a millstone was been wrapped around our hearts. We have no communication unless he calls—which is less and less. Apparently he’s just staying in his cell, lying around.
PRAYER. His might, His joy, His unexpected deliverance. Holy King, we fall before you, weakened, saddened, clueless. We seek your face and dunamis-powered intervention—making a way where there appears to be none. Rekindle your Word in Matt’s soul, reminding him of what he learned and loved in his earlier years. Bring solid Bible studies that honor our Messiah from biblical teachers with a heart and understanding of bipolar individuals. Please, my Messiah, bless Matt’s soul to praise you. Bring forth your tangible presence for companionship, protection, learning, spiritual maturing, healing, and deliverance.

I shall run the way of your commandments; For you will enlarge my heart.
James seeks God’s direction, a shift to release him from work and life frustrations.
PRAYER. His will, His way, His love. Lord God of Hosts, you’ve shown us that discontent signals that a shift is beginning or underway. Use James’s frustrations to plow the fallow ground, the dry, previously comfortable patches, causing those parts of his soul to be made ready for seeding, watering, blooming, enlarging, and harvesting. In our Messiah’s precious, life-giving name, Yeshua.

Establish your Word to your servant as that which produces reverence for you.

I considered my ways and turned my feet to your testimonies.
These two sisters (a tween and a teen) need God’s stirring and a closer walk with Him so they love one another better and walk in His peace. Their mom Josie seeks safer housing for her and her two daughters.
PRAYER. His gentleness, His kindness, His bridge-building. Abba, we know discord saddens you—and that the enemy breeds discord. Show mercy on your young daughters by removing the hardness growing on their souls. Let your love penetrate their hearts, melting away and healing scars from words, disappointments, distrust, situations, betrayals, jealousies and envies. Remind them of your Word and ways and help them to find your path and walk on it again. And manifest your stability in their lives with safe, blessed housing. In Yeshua’s redeeming name.

Behold, I long for your precepts; Revive me through Your righteousness.
Bernie—one of our prayer warriors we’ve prayed for prior—is doing wonderfully after her hip surgery. But her family is being torn apart. Her son, Thomas, is back in jail after attacking his brother David and trying to hurt his mom’s hip. Thomas has become dangerous—and believing he has the devil in him. The family is emotionally stressed, but know the Lord has protected them.
PRAYER. His eyes are on the sparrow, His hand extends protection and imparts righteousness. King of kings, please intervene in every aspect of this painful situation. You know the reality of Thomas’s soul condition. Abba, move in sweeping ways to bind up the enemy, easing Bernie’s family’s fears . . . and cleansing Thomas’s heart, mind, soul. Please bring deliverance swiftly at every turn, fully, completely, undeniably. Be glorified, dear Redeemer, help Thomas long for you and your holy, good ways. In Yeshua’s mighty name.

We are committed to standing in the gap for Michael, praying him through to full healing. He has had some relief and doing better from the long-term troubling health conditions and their effects on his spiritual, emotional, mental life.
PRAYER. His relentless love, His unending mercies, His power from on high. King of the battle, please keep moving into Michael’s life, deeper, releasing your mercy, healing, deliverance, and favor beyond measure that he’ll have a testimony to share about your glorious ways and kindness. Cole had an accident and is frustrated with life. He needs God’s help—but, most importantly, he needs God’s salvation and deliverance from the sway of idolatrous friends who flirt with satanic influences.
PRAYER. His freedom, His completeness, His contentment in all situations.. God our Champion, Deliverer, Faithful and True, please show Cole that the only way to fill the holes, the emptiness of his life, is with You. Surround him at every turn with your truth, breaking down his stubbornness, pride, false thinking. And please annihilate the darkness residing near him, attempting to pull him away from truth to keep him captive. You already won the war, Adonai, show Cole who you are! Become real to him. Toni, a senior citizen, is doggedly downsizing to better fit in her new apartment. She desires God’s discernment throughout the process.

Sit with your daughter, strengthening her, guarding her health and home, leading her in every decision of what needs discarding, gifting, disposing. Ease the process for her.
