Clearly, many of us are being pressed in on many sides. The enemy is on a rampage. So I wanted to offer this prayer (below) on your behalf, using God’s words and promises to bless and encourage you.

 

About a week ago, He gently dropped this concept in my soul . . . it’s a fusion of words from 2 Corinthians 4 and things prompted in my spirit, all are anchored by the three-line Hebraic Aaronic Blessing—but fleshing out the Hebrew for deeper understanding.

 

The Aaronic Blessing (Birkhat Kohanim) is from Numbers 6, the words God commanded Moses to give his brother Aaron and the Cohen (priests) to bless Israel. Believers in Yeshua (Jesus our Messiah) are grafted into the eternal family of God. While there are specific promises to Israel, God’s covering and promises through Messiah are yours.

 

For you, precious prayer warriors . . .

 

When you’re hard-pressed, pushed down, and your body and mind are suffering . . .

יְבָֽרֶכְךָ֥ יְהוָֹ֖ה וְיִשְׁמְרֶֽךָ

May Adonai bend down (bless “barak”) and spiritually and physically guard/watch over (shamar) you, ardently, fervently like a faithful shepherd over you, a beloved sheep in His chosen flock.

 
 

And when darkness is pushing in and discouragement begins to overwhelm you and your faith is being shaken at every turn …

May Adonai’s face—his glorious being, his glorious presence (panav)—radiate/shine/beam (yair) on you with grace (chen), a needed gift born from His mercy and pardon that releases His favor and blessings on you.

 
 

And when your life seems off-course like a battle-weary ship drifting on turbulent waters with no safe harbor in sight . . .

May Adonai raise (yisah)—His face/countenance, his glorious presence (panav) toward you. He will not hide His face from you . . . so you can behold His glorious inner being (panav), His character, reflected in His countenance (panav) . . . in a genuine, loving eye-to-eye, soul-to-soul connection.

And may He release (yasem) to you, give you, His shalom, His wholeness, that fullness of being you need for every part of your life . . . so that you may know what it means to walk in, walk with, and walk beside your God, your Deliverer, your King of Glory, and STAND.

UPDATE #1. ANNORA

Psalm 32:7

You are my hiding place; You keep me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance.

Request: Many of you graciously prayed for Annora in early May when she was getting treatment for a nervous breakdown. She is home and needing us to stand in the gap before our King.

Prayer: God’s presence to overshadow and guard her. Gracious Father, King of life, we continue to pray that your holiness and deep love for Annora will release the power of the cross within her mind, body, soul. May your presence rush to her in times of need, in moments of doubt or worry. Please call forth restoration and wholeness on all levels that she may rise up, joyful, stable, and praising you. In Yeshua’s glorified name.

 

UPDATE #2. CAYSON

Psalm 91:15b-16

I will rescue him and honor him. I will satisfy him with a long life and show him My salvation.

Request: We’ve prayed for eight-year-old Cayson back in late March (for an IV insertion and CT scan) and in early May (for a pediatric surgeon consult). Thankfully, he’s doing well but needs prayer because his parents (based on the surgeon’s recommendation) are leaning toward him having surgery—possibly in July—to remove the mesothelial cyst that was discovered on his diaphragm, behind his liver. If not removed, the cyst will continue to grow.

Prayer: God’s covering, complete healing, excellence over the medical team. Gracious Father, thank you for your hand sheltering Cayson, for your watchful eye over this medical situation, for your perfect plan, for your love through every step of this decision, procedure, recuperation, total healing. May your comfort from Heaven envelope Cayson and his family. May your presence be a constant companion, gentle, trustworthy, mighty. In Yeshua’s healing name.

 

UPDATE #3. EVELYN

Psalm 107:29

He caused the storm to be still, so that the waves of the sea were hushed.

Request: Thank you for praying for Ev’s cardio appointment to determine if a pacemaker or other treatment was needed. For now, the cardiologist has scheduled a CT scan of the back of her heart before doing a heart ablation procedure. Please stand in the gap for her as this process unfolds.

Prayer: God’s protection, holy presence, mercy. Who is like you, Lord? Strong and glorious, faithful and true, the giver and sustainer of life. Please lower your holy garments to cover Ev through each phase of the diagnostics and possible heart ablation procedure. Guard her on all sides, letting her experience your lovingkindness and tender care for her. Fill her soul with great rejoicing for all that you are and are doing for her. In Yeshua’s name above all names.

 

UPDATE #4. TONI

Because he has loved Me, I will save him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.

Request: Toni is home, her blood sugar levels are better, nowhere near as escalated as before. She seeks God’s presence, ongoing healing, strength, and guidance.

Prayer: God’s gentle voice leading the way and His healing touch comforting her. Abba, you know the road isn’t easy down here, but knowing you changes everything. Speak to your daughter Toni who loves you. Breathe encouragement through her, release words of wisdom and strength that will carry her forward in all you’ve called her to do. May your purposes and calling on her life be realized. In Yeshua’s holy name.

One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”

Request: Pat has begun his chemo-and-radiation treatment cycle for his newly diagnosed bladder cancer. Pat needs God’s mighty protection, enduring strength, and sweet encouragement.

Prayer: God’s tangible presence like never before. Mighty King, please release glory-healing from your throne so it flows like a cascading waterfall over Pat’s body and soul. Ease his fears, lift up his face to behold your countenance, your caring eyes, your wondrous power of love that overcomes the darkness. Breathe your shalom throughout his soul. Request: Please keep the prayer support going for Tony who has gallbladder cancer but continues to stay the course, thanks to our King.

Prayer: God’s embrace and ongoing healing. El Shaddai, thank you for walking with Tony through this trial. We continue to seek your face and divine intervention for every concern—health, fears, worries, life changes—with this cancer. Please cover Tony every moment with your protection, your strength, your endless love . . . and draw him and his family even further into your holy tent where there is sweet rest, ongoing healing, and overflowing joy in You. Thank you for your eternal caring, your work on the cross and powerful resurrection that sets us free in You. Carry these little lambs deeper into your Word, bathing them in its life-giving waters and its transformational work in the soul. Request: The SHINSHINIM are highly qualified Israeli high school graduates (male/female) selected for a special program to defer their mandatory IDF service for one year by spending that year in another nation as an Ambassador for Israel, educating and facilitating in Jewish communities about Israeli/Jewish culture. Some ShinShinim in the US are winding down their commitment and will soon be returning to Israel to fight on their nation’s many battle fronts. They need prayer support and God’s covering.

Prayer: God’s mighty wings of protection. Adonai, your hand on Israel is now and forever. Please send your battle-ready angels to patrol the heavenlies, warring on Israel’s behalf as she wars on the ground in this dimension. Be in the dugouts, in the air, in the tanks, beside the technical and munition teams, in the war rooms and strategy meetings, and everywhere your Israeli military must battle against the dark forces and violent people wishing to annihilate your people. Request: She’s seeking, asking questions to learn more about the Bible and God but also getting misinformation from religious cults and others not solid in rightly dividing the Word. The enemy is attempting to derail and spiritually blind her. She needs God’s redemptive leading.

Prayer: God’s truth to prevail and bring her to His mighty redemption in Yeshua. Oh, Glorious Savior, silence the enemy and his minions. Protect Lisa from the lies and lead her to your throne of truth, grace, mercy, salvation. Please give her eyes to see you, ears to hear you, and a heart and mouth to praise and follow you in truth. Request: One of our prayer warriors has begun a ministry work online where she met a pastor in Kenya who works with children. The little ones need food and all those under his ministry care need to grow in the Word. Your prayer support is greatly welcomed.

Prayer: God’s provisions in all areas released. Adonai, your heart is for the downtrodden, for those upholding righteousness and your salvation message. Prayer: May God arise. Lord, you are majestic in all your ways. May your love, wisdom, and light that drives out darkness and confusion step into these believers’ lives and deepen their faith in you and mature their soul. Speak to the core of their being in undeniable ways, assuring and reassuring them as you guide them further into your goodness: James (work decisions), Jessica (possible Air Force career), Shannon (continued healing and growth), M. #9. ANDREA’S MINDY DOGGIE

The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, for His compassions do not fail.

Request: A real cutie pie, Mindy is a senior Australian Shepherd with a growth on her foot. It’s being tested for cancer but results won’t be in for a while. Her human mom (Andrea) is battling stage 4 breast cancer and is a fellow prayer warrior. As you might imagine, Mindy and Andrea’s two other Aussies (Toby, the eldest & Gio, the youngest) give her much-needed comfort, so she is seeking prayer support for God’s mercy and healing touch on Mindy and the whole doggie gang.

Prayer: God’s grace and compassion. Thank you, gracious Father, for all you’ve done in Andrea’s life. You know the current struggles, the heartaches, and now the worries over Mindy and the doggie family. Lord, we know these dogs are yours, your creation that you love. Please gather them in your arms of life and breathe healing and shalom over and through them. And may your shalom embrace Andrea and bless her with your calming, restful presence.

SOS PRAYER ALERT: ISRAEL

#1. Jessica

From our last prayer list: Jessica, a near-21-year-old, went to church a few weeks ago and received the LORD. And she just got a job! May the Lord continue to guide her and make a way for her to attend the young adult group at church to build her walk in Him.

 

#2. Maria

From our July 14 prayer list: Maria (in Spain) was in depression and is being treated for her attempted suicide. She’s now volunteering at the Red Cross. May God turn her heart toward him, to believe/receive His reward in Jesus for salvation and may he help her understand that He Alone is the true desire of her heart and the answer to her every need.

 

#3. Baby Matty in Philippines

From our last prayer list: Baby Matty made it through the cleft surgery! But he now needs healing for an infection from the surgery. LORD, thank you for your kindness in helping Matty. Please now strengthen him for this next surgery, which we’re told is going to be more traumatic to his little body. Clothe him with your mercy.

 

#4. Alexandria

From our last and prior prayer list: Alexandria is a young woman who is incarcerated but trying to get her life back on track. She just finished her high school degree while inside and had her graduation on 8/14/2024! LORD, thank you for encouraging Alex along the way to this milestone. May she now turn her eyes to you. Help her soul to hunger for you and your Word . . . and not be fooled and lured by the world’s mindset and spiritual darkness surrounding her in that environment.

#5. Jamie

Psalm 25:6

Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.”

Bittersweet update. With God’s grace and bathed in your prayers (thank you all so much), Jamie made it through the hip socket surgery. He was to be moved to a rehab center this week, which was delayed due to a setback with pulmonary edema. But now the rehab isn’t going to happen. His stage 4 lung and liver cancer have spread even more . . . and he’s hoping to return home for at-home hospice care.

We bow before you, LORD, grateful for helping Jamie through the hip-socket surgery. Blessed Redeemer, this cancer continues to spread and is weakening him, unless you choose to step in. But it’s your will, your timing, your holy desire that we seek. Please stretch out your wings and draw Jamie beneath them, gently, mercifully, calmly, in your quiet love, as he looks to you along this final leg of his journey down here. Please strengthen him and his family (mom, brothers, children/grandchildren, cousins, etc.) during this time, especially the family members caring for him in this hospice state. And may their time together during these days be blessed and precious in your sight.

From our last prayer list: Daniela has returned to the States from her internship at Calvary’s Bible College in Dumaguete, Philippines.

Our God is a Mighty Warrior. LORD, please establish the roots of Daniela’s calling, open doors for her ministry work, and deepen her love for you. Abba, create in her a courageous spirit for evangelism wherever she goes.

Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

Thank you for interceding for Jeanelle’s SOS Prayer Alert. When diagnostics showed an abnormality in the uterus, she underwent an endometrial biopsy. Please keep praying—she has a hysterectomy scheduled for September 30.

O Glory of all, Majestic King your eye is on your daughter who has walked faithfully with you for years. Let her see the greatness of your hand in this, in unexpected, wondrous ways. May your Name be lifted up, be exalted, our King.

Isobel is struggling with discouragement fueled by spiritual warfare.

Allie (friend of Daniela, #6 on this list) has been diagnosed with bone cancer. The shock of the news is disorienting . . . the suddenness of an unexpected life turn is jarring.

LORD GOD MOST HIGH, cover Allie with your garment of comfort. Release healing from your throne according to your will. May the excellence of your ways be evident in every medical treatment and care . . . and we seek your supernatural intervention for your glory and Allie’s good.

Vee (a believer in Jesus her Messiah and a Catholic) has battled cancer many times, but now in her senior years, the cancer has returned and spread to her liver and elsewhere. Many days she prays for Jesus to call her home to Him.

Sweet Shepherd, our Deliverer, let your strength and mercy rain down from your throne and envelope Vee in this difficult, draining fight. Carry her in your arms, help her to feel your comforting presence, and cover her with your shalom (completeness and a peace not of this world).

We’ve prayed for Bernie’s anticipated hip surgery—now she finally received the date: October 10 at 9 am Eastern time.

Glorious King, guide every step, from these preparatory days through the actual surgery and rehabilitation time frame. Please draw her closer to you with blessed assurance as you help her handle every detail ahead of time at home and for her family’s needs so her mind, soul, and spirit are at rest in you.

Ginny needs healing & salvation. She’s 40 years old but has multiple health problems and is always in and out of the hospital.

El Gibbor, our Mighty God, Ginny must be weary and frightened . . . and perhaps, hopeless. Please step into her life in such a way that the wonder of your Gospel message with its blessed hope (Jesus) revive Ginny spiritually and physically.

Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me! O LORD, make haste to help me!

In her 30s, she greatly needs God’s redemptive hand, salvation in Jesus, and deliverance from the demonic pull and confusion of a Woke culture and family.

King of kings, there is none like you. Erica’s soul needs your cleansing, your hand to cut the ties that are binding her, your true freedom in Jesus. Let your Truth, Life, and Way surround her on every side so her spiritual eyes are awakened to You.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Diagnostics on this man, a believer in Jesus, revealed “something” in the pancreas—possibly a stone. Further tests will be run for clarification and next steps.

El Elyon, our God Most High, you are the great Revealer. Please give wisdom and understanding to the doctors so this man will gain relief from the condition he’s been living with since late last year. And by your hand and love, may he be healed.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Battle on. When God moves, the enemy stirs. God has ushered positive, new things to prayerfully ignite a new chapter in Kevin’s life—going back to a Christian university for a bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies with emphasis on Global Ministries. And he started his new job and likes it. Now he needs God’s covering and to stay armored up against the enemy’s wiles to derail things.

LORD, protect these gifts from you, your lovingkindness is too wonderful for us to comprehend. Please continue to help Kevin in his walk with you, in his work, and in his family. Gird him and raise up his soul for your glory.

(a) James, a believer, is seeking God’s open doors and guidance.

Abba, hear the heart of your son, James, and lead him forward in your Word, growing his spiritual maturity and firming the ground beneath him per your will and purpose.

 

(b) Cole is James’s longtime friend. Cole needs salvation and the right truck-driving work so he can eventually leave town for a better place.

Change is the word, LORD. Change in his thinking about you, change in his soul through redemption from Jesus, and change in his work opportunities that take him to better, healthier (spiritually and otherwise) living.

#1. Matt’s PRAISE REPORT!

2 Samuel 22:2

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer . . .

He’s been on our prayer list before. Matt is bipolar with emotional issues and landed in a Salt Lake City jail last year—and recently was facing even more time, totaling 5 to 8 years, he said. It was confusing and crushing news on many levels. Then on June 13, our prayers (and tears) for God’s mercy were answered! Out of the blue he was told he was getting released that day! I have to say, I sat stunned by God’s unfathomable mercy and love.

Merciful Father, your lovingkindness is too wonderful for us to comprehend. Please keep Matt in your hand, you know his needs—especially his walking with you again, safe housing to stop homelessness, staying on his meds, restarting his disability funds.

 

#2. Chris’s PRAISE REPORT!

Psalm 34:17

When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

In January, Chris, a 53-year-old, longtime homeless man in Ohio, was on our prayer list for stability, God’s mercies, blessings, and healing (body, mind, soul). He was doing odd jobs—even construction work from my Uncle Gene/Aunt Marian who are in their 80s and building a new home. In fact, whenever possible, they purposely are using needy workers like Chris versus hiring a construction company, so their housebuilding is about helping others along the way to have work and dignity.

 

Yowza! God moved on this prayer and through my aunt/uncle’s holy work. Chris and his girlfriend now have an apartment! And Chris is sharing his blessings by helping and encouraging other down-and-out people, some of who are now also working on my aunt/uncle’s house project. Blessings begetting blessings begetting blessings, showering on others.

 

Gracious Father, thank you, thank you, thank you! Please let your mercies and provisions and favor be on Chris and those he has blessed so they may all know you and honor our Lord and Savior, our Messiah Jesus.

 

#3. Gene

Isaiah 65:24

Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.

My Uncle Gene—mentioned in the prior praise report about Chris—hasn’t been well for nearly six months. Doctors haven’t found the cause—yet he continues with the housebuilding and blessing others.

Precious King, stretch out your arms and lift up Gene and Marian strengthening them, guiding them on their building project . . . and cover them with the revelation, mercies, and healing needed for every medical issue.

 

#4. Israel’s Prime Minister, Bibi Netanyahu

1 Samuel 17:45

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

The weight on Netanyahu is crushing—if it weren’t for God.

 

Holy God of Israel, help Netanyahu stand in faith on your majestic name, faithful character, scriptural promises, and lean on you for strength and direction. May Isaiah 43:1 come alive in his soul and throughout all of Israel’s military. May they stand on that truth, no matter what other nations say or do. Lord, you are, as promised, going ahead of Israel and you are and always will be their rearguard (Isaiah 52:12).

 

Please help Netanyahu and the IDF be lifted in courage, alive in hope, filled with a song in their soul based on your Word so they can run with the horses (Jeremiah 12:5)—able to excel on every war front. And may the truth of their Messiah Jesus reign in their hearts, minds, souls.

Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled

The battle is intense within Michael. Anger, depression, illness. He’s in a dark place that’s piercing his parents’ heart. They seek God’s deliverance, intervention, and supernatural wisdom of how to proceed.

Warrior King, please arm your servants Diana and her husband with the power and promise of Ephesian 6:10-18. Pierce through the darkness taunting Michael and bring down and cast out the Goliaths in his life so he is freed, victorious, seated in your hand, and surrounded by your holiness, comfort, wholeness, and truth.

The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness you restore him to full health.

Bernie has had a full plate for years, faithfully rising to her family’s special needs. Now she is in need, seeking God’s timing and covering for her hip replacement surgery, his excellence and presence over the medical team, her pre-op, operation, and recovery.

Behold your daughter, Adonai, and carry her through this, wrap her in your holy tallit of healing and let her sense your presence and hear your voice in joyful ways like never before. May your Word rise within her soul, refreshing her and lifting her to a sweet, deeper love in you.

 

#7. Mary T’s Dad

Psalm 146:8a

The Lord opens the eyes of the blind . . .

Mary’s dad has a tumor in his lungs and may not have much time left.

Majestic King, you see how Mary’s dad needs you for his health, to calm fears, to bring comfort from the pain–but especially how his soul needs salvation. We know it is not your will that even one parishes. Please remove any hardness and spiritual blindness from his soul. Help him see, believe, and surrender to your glorious redemptive plan and eternal promises of salvation through Jesus, our Redeemer-Messiah.

 

#8. Kevin’s Aunt Barbara

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Barbara was in ICU for an attempted suicide. Raised Catholic, she’s a nurse but since her husband died a few years ago, she’s been depressed and on medication. The enemy has her in a grip of mourning, her hope and joy deferred.

Father, carry Barbara in your arms. Oh how she needs you and the freedom and peace you’ve given us in Jesus. Speak words of healing and hope to her soul and may your truth and presence restore her joy and set her free from satan’s hold and lies.

 

#9. Jamie

Psalm 138:3

On the day I called, you answered me and made me bold with strength in my soul.

You’ve been praying for Jamie and we thank you. But now the cancer treatments for his stage 4 lung/liver cancer aren’t working well and caused his recent hospital stay. He has treatment decisions to make.

Merciful Father, may your grace, favor, calm, comfort, and immense love be evidenced, palpable, and boldly believed in the crevices of Jamie’s soul. And may he rise like an eagle and find continued strength in your embrace as he seeks your will in his decision-making.

 

#10. Gabriel

Isaiah 30:21

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

After our breakfast outing, my friend Sonia and I were blessed to give the Gospel to Gabriel by an unexpected move of the Lord. Gabriel is a young man from Mexico living in Vegas but has no family in town. He listened to the Gospel, took a tract with a Christian bookmark and Sonia’s most-precious gift, a Bible.

Mighty Redeemer, please soften Gabriel’s soul, protect your Word soijen and given to him, and bless him with a deep understanding of the beauty of your redemption story so he can embrace the salvation and joy in our Messiah Jesus.

 

#11. Brian

Psalm 107:6

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and he delivered them from their distress.

Another young man my friend Sonia and I met on our unexpected God-ordained ministry day. Brian is homeless and wants to find his mother and get to his brother Matthew who is not well in another state. He prayed with us and seeks God’s help with provisions and in working out all these family and housing issues.

May God arise in Brian’s life in new, surprising, wondrous ways and release provisions and relational healings for his good and God’s glory.

Psalm 32:8

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Thirty-year-old James is asking God for wisdom, direction on his life, positive changes, and deliverance for those situations binding him.

Lord Most High, you see the struggles, you hear James’s cries. Reach down and point the way and clearly set the answers before him. Teach him, mature his walk of faith in you throughout the journey so you are glorified and his joy in you is complete.

 

#13. Toni

Psalm 73:26.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

A senior citizen, Toni has had some increasing health challenges and is finally getting help but she’s fallen a few times in her apartment and is on oxygen 24/7. She’s a longtime Christian leaning on her King to carry her through.

Abba, please sit with your daughter, send angels to minister to her, be the breath within her lungs and her soul and encourage her in your love. May the sweet fragrance of your presence and heaven fill her home and heart.

Psalm 34:4-5a

I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant.

A strong believer going through a challenging divorce and discovering God’s love at every turn. She’s seeking improved health, wisdom on decisions regarding her ministry work, salvation for her teen/autistic son, and protection over health/personal concerns for her young daughter.

Mighty King, please surround Leslie and her family with your goodness and endless mercies. Shine your radiant light of truth and love over them. Make your will clearly known and understood, your healing on her body complete. And please release new resources to meet every need. King of the fight, soften her son’s heart to hear your truth and your voice and not the enemy’s lies. And please keep her daughter sheltered in your arms, stilling her fears.

Proverbs 4:20-22

My son, be attentive to my words . . . keep them within your heart . . . they are life and healing to you.

They both need God’s grace, strength, mercies, and healing because of health issues: Michelle’s ongoing allergy problems (with breathing problems and extremely limited food to eat). And Jason’s weakened ankles and his need for a calmed mind, resting in God’s arms.

Father, thank you for drawing Jason and Michelle to your heart. Please shelter them, strengthen them, gird them in your love and Word, breathe your healing through them, and keep them safe under your glory wings.

This gracious senior citizen—a mighty woman of God—is seeking her Lord’s hand on her health issues so she can serve him more and others: arthritic shoulders, kidneys, and pre-diabetes.

Lord, envelope your daughter, restore her, revive her, bathe her in your heavenly wisdom and understanding. May your presence in her home be her constant companion.

 

#17. Jeff

2 John 3:2

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.

Jeff is in his early 40s with major thyroid issues—he’s had to use a feeding tube for several months and needs God’s strength and encouragement.

Lord, see your servant and strengthen him, encourage him, cover him, lovingly lifting him under your wings for assurance, hope, and healing.

 

#18. Avery

Isaiah 40:29.

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Avery has had quite a journey. Her past exposure to mold eventually caused auto-immune issues and diminished health, forcing her and her husband Ryan to move from the Midwest to warmer, drier Las Vegas. She still has a ways to go.

Lord God, please intervene and release your mantle of healing. And bring Avery and Ryan the beauty and freedom and truth of the Messiah Jesus, our Redeemer and healer.

 

#19. Nina

Psalm 31:1

In you, O Lord, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame, in your righteousness deliver me.

Some of us got an SOS prayer request when Nina went to court recently about her divorce. Her ex is shirking his fiscal responsibilities per the agreement. Nina was advised to get a lawyer going forward.

Merciful King, our judge, our advocate, may your hand be on this, may your holy, righteous, and just ways be manifested in the court for your daughter Nina.

 

#20. Molly (doggie)

Psalm 145:6

You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing.

Little Mollie has had a problem with a heart valve—but God has kept his hand on her, despite vets saying back when that she had six months to live. She’s being doing fine for a long time but now has bad teeth that need removing; however the vet won’t do the procedure since she can’t go under anesthesia with her heart condition. Her human family needs comfort and wisdom.

Lord, you look on the great and the small and are sovereign over all the earth. May your mercies cover Molly and this family. And may your love prevail over Mollie according to your will and over this family.
