Two months into 2025, the escalation and acceleration of spiritual battles—globally and personally—are impacting each of us. From the unimaginable, heart-piercing Israeli hostage situations we’ve learned about to the whirlwind of presidential changes in the US.

 

In these times, I’m often drawn back to certain verses in Psalm 77 where Asaph wrote about a soul so raw with grief that it couldn’t be comforted. And yet, in time . . . the soul remembers the Lord and can breathe again. In Asaph’s verses 11-15, grief is broken off by praising God.
 

I shall remember the deeds of the Lord;
I will certainly remember Your wonders of old.

I will meditate on all Your work,
And on Your deeds with thanksgiving.

 

Your way, God, is holy;
What god is great like our God?

 

You are the God who works wonders;
You have made known Your strength among the peoples.

By Your power You have redeemed Your people . . .

 

May your soul turn to Him and find rest again despite the chaos . . . and may it be revived under the shelter of His glorious wings.

PRAYER UPDATES

 

#1. YESHI’s FAMILY

Update: After Yeshi’s name appeared on our last prayer list (and others), we sent an update that she was off life support and then out of the hospital. A short reprieve from God, a gracious gift for the family before He called Yeshi home to be with Him.

Prayer: And my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever (Psalm 23:6b). Lord, may you wrap your arms around Yeshi’s hubby Steve and family during the days and months ahead. And may her memory be a comfort as your presence strengthens them.

 

#2. ANTHONY (TONY)

Update: Tony, 86, was on our last prayer list, with kidney functioning at 14%. Since then, he’s been diagnosed with gall bladder cancer. Prayer family, he needs our prayer support.

Prayer: The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation (Psalm 118:14). Mighty Healer, Merciful King, we ask for the power and healing of the cross to be released in Tony. Please counsel him, strengthen him, and walk close beside him. And may your comforting presence be with him and his entire family as they look to you for help, encouragement, and healing. In Jesus’s precious name.

 

#3. ROGER & ANDREA

Updates: Since being on our last prayer list, Roger has undergone various diagnostics. Thankfully, the lumps in his upper/lower arm aren’t cancerous. He still needs prayer for his feeble/painful knees and gastric concerns.

Andrea’s stage 4 breast cancer is in a “remission.” But she’s having many problems now with medication side effects and needs God’s counsel, grace, mercy.

And their youngest Australian Shepherd (Gio) is having epileptic fits at times.

Prayer: Incline your ear, Lord, and answer me, for I am afflicted and needy . . . be gracious to me, O Lord, for I call upon you all day long (Psalm 86:1,3). We praise you, Adonai, for keeping watch over Roger and Andrea. Please bring the medical answers and healings needed so they can be stronger to care for one another and serve you. Also, please keep your healing hand on Gio and lead the veterinarian in the right medical protocols. In Yeshua’s glorious name.

 

#4. HOSTAGES

Update: Phase 1 of the ceasefire deal/hostage release is over (for now) but the freed hostages’ ordeal in captivity and its aftermath on them and the ache of knowing there are more hostages still suffering in those Hamas conditions remains.

Prayer: The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). God, you are the Great Rescuer, may your mercies rain down on each one—freed hostages and those still in captivity. Heal them from the torturous memories of the inhumane, humiliating things they’ve been through . . . and for those still physically caged in the dark Hamas clutches, be their Light, sustain them with hope, physically, mentally, spiritually. Draw them closer to You so they sense your presence, find comfort in your voice and in your Word. In His glorious, saving name.

Galatians 5:1

It’s for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and don’t let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Request: Henry had been on past prayer lists for his drug addiction but got clean before he/his girlfriend had a baby girl. Now, he’s lost his way again.

Prayer: God’s deliverance. Lord of Life, speak to the darkness within and around Henry—cast it out and save his soul. Turn his heart to you so he denounces the demonic hold he agreed with at some point . . . and so he bows down, surrenders, calls you Lord, and is free. Free indeed, in Jesus our Messiah’s name.

 

#6. CHILE’S SALVATION

Titus 2:11, 13

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people . . . looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.

Request: Seeking God’s hand for a revival. Please stir your holy fire and spread the Gospel throughout Chile and help all evangelical Christians’ faith to be filled with a powerful love for You, Lord, and Your ways. And for their safety since last year saw a number of violent or arson attacks on chapels.

Prayer: God’s evangelism gift growing. Abba, please sow seeds of righteousness and redemption throughout Chile, falling on rich soil in the soul. Help those calling themselves Christians to study the Word and cultivate a deep, true relationship with you vs merely having religion. In Jesus’s glorious name.

 

#7. ASHLEY

Psalm 40:1

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.

Request: After years of trying and being told she couldn’t have children, 38-year-old Ashley is pregnant! May God cover her and her unborn child.

Prayer: Under His wings. God of the impossible, we thank you, praise you, and lift up your name. May your powerful, loving hand rest on Ashley and the child in her womb . . . protect them throughout the pregnancy to full term and a safe, joyous delivery. May you get all the glory, Precious King. And may the child be anointed to serve you mightily! In Yeshua’s sweet name.

 

#8. JOHN S.

Psalm 51:1a

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love.

Request: Nearing 81, John was just released from the hospital after having several mini-strokes.

Prayer: El Elyon, God Most High, watch over John, protecting him, healing his heart. And, above all else, drawing his soul closer to you and the faith he had in you and in our Messiah, Jesus. In His kingly name we pray.

Hebrew 12:1b, 2a

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Request: Seeking God’s face to finish strong, accurately hearing His voice, keeping aligned with His desires.

Prayer: Hail to You, King of kings, Lord of lords. Please counsel your daughter, girding her in new ways so she rises in your Word, follows your decrees, and walks strongly and perseveres in all that you’ve ordained for her to do. For she is the workmanship of your hands. In Yeshua’s name.

Psalm 73:24

You will guide me with your counsel and afterward receive me in glory.

Request: Needing God’s guidance on her testimony project and personal decisions as well as provisions for finances.

Prayer: Jehovah Shalom, our Lord who is peace/completeness, continue to walk with your daughter, leading her on the path you have cleared for her. Help her to take it all in your time, step by step, as your provisions make a way where none is visible. Let wisdom surround her and bless her evangelistic spiritual gift. In our Messiah Yeshua’s name.

Submit yourselves, then, to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Request: Healing in all familial relationships—and salvation delivering them from themselves.

Prayer: Abba, please help this family do a 180 and run toward you. Where there is chaos, bring your shalom; where there is division, bring healing and unity; where there is disrespect and lies, bring forward honor, love, and truth. And where there is deceit, addiction, thievery on all levels, please uproot it and sow honesty, deliverance, and generosity. In Jesus’s name.

You are my hiding place, you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

Request: Deepen walk with Jesus on all levels, returning fully to his first love, our Messiah.

Prayer: Lord, only you know the troubled areas of Doug’s soul. As an ex-military man who is now battling ill health and things of the past, he needs your intervention and needs the tentacles of past vices to be cleanly, fully cut off. Draw him into your hiding place and set him free in You. In Yeshua’s beautiful name.

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

Request: Spiritual, physical, emotional protection over this elementary little one as she ping-pongs between parental homes since a divorce.

Prayer: Your heart, Lord God, is with the children. Please spread your wings and shelter Abigail in every situation, helping her to walk in your ways as her mother taught her and guarding her on all sides from ungodly influences. May your name be written on her soul. In Jesus’ precious name.

#1. SHIRL: NEW UPDATE

Praise God’s faithful healing hand! Since the successful surgery to remove fluid from her brain, Shirl continues to be healing really well! She has one more PT treatment and is doing fine. Shirl and hubby Bruce are grateful for your prayer support!

 

#2. MICHELLE: NEW UPDATE

To God be the glory! Continuing with her long-term immunotherapy treatments for allergies, asthma/breathing, Michelle’s sense of smell has returned far more (almost total)! Thank you, prayer warriors—she cherishes your continued prayers.

 

#3. I.B.: NEW UPDATE

God’s kindness moves our hearts! Since beginning the unique treatment for bladder cancer, I.B. has had little or no side effects! Please lift her up in prayer because this is a longer-term treatment. And as a Jew, may she come to know her Jewish Messiah, Yeshua, who loves her deeply.

Luke 19:10

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Request: Since our January 26 S.O.S. text prayer for Marc (37)—whose heart stopped after a drug overdose and who was hospitalized—he, against doctor’s orders, discharged himself from the hospital only to again be transported to ICU via ambulance. He now has pneumonia in both lungs, and his heart isn’t producing enough oxygen. With addiction taking a deeper hold, he has become quite angry, choosing to be estranged from the family who loves him.

Prayer: God’s heart cutting through the darkness. His holiness casting down strongholds. Abba, we lay Marc before you. His defiance and apparent desire to cling to the demonic stronghold caging him need your intervention. Please call to his soul, to the pit of his being, and awaken him to his spiritual and physical condition in a way that moves him so he asks you to free him. Call him to LIFE in you. And please through it all, protect the family, sheltering them on all sides from his disturbing behavior and sometimes frightening or aggressive actions. In Jesus’s mighty name.

The Lord is my shepherd, I will not be in need . . . He restores my soul.

Request: Steve’s wife, Yeshi, is in the hospital, in grave condition, on life support with no medical intervention. They are believers and have two children.

Prayer: God’s mercies, gentle presence, and comfort. Father, all life is in your hands. Please release your Holy Spirit to bathe Yeshi in your goodness, your shalom, your healing. Wrap your arms around her, let your Word rise within her and your love and will be released. And may your comfort embrace Steve and their children in this difficult time. May they be strengthened by your Presence. In Jesus’s sweet name.

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever.

Request: There are many issues on all fronts for Zion. But this prayer focus is on the hostages: those released, to be released, remaining after the cease fire.

Prayer: God’s presence. His righteousness and deliverance. Adonai, El Shaddai, may your mercies be with each one. Meet them in the dark tunnels where they are kept, in the inhumane treatment, in the extreme lack of food or medical help, in the hopelessness. And for those released, walk with them along the long, difficult road to acclimation to “normal” life again. Soothe the emotional triggers, the PTSD, the sounds/sights that frighten them in their minds and around them. Please draw them closer so they sense your presence, find comfort in your Word, and lead them to complete and true freedom: Yeshua. In His glorious, saving name.

Psalm 42:1

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for you, God.

Request: Toni, a longtime believer in Yeshua, is battling a few health issues that are not easy to deal with on a daily basis. For years, she’s had migraines, but they are now increasing to the point where it’s making her highly concerned. She also hungers to be drawn even closer to the Lord.

Prayer: God’s grace, mercy, nurturing. Mighty King, please stretch out your arm and draw Toni closer to your chest. Let her rest there, embraced by your presence, healing, love. Let her hear your heart beat for her. And may you cause these migraines to subside, give her relief from the pain and still the fears in her mind and soul. Hold your daughter throughout each day and night, singing words of comfort and deliverance. In Yeshua’s gentle, precious name.

I cried to the Lord in my trouble, and He answered me.

Request: Sharon’s husband recently died unexpectedly at home from a heart attack. Sharon and her son, Douglas (who is on the spectrum), need God’s presence, wisdom, comfort.

Prayer: God’s hand clearing the way. Emmanuel, God with us, spread your wings of protection over Sharon and Douglas. Ease the path for them. Please let your calming Holy Spirit rest on Douglas, dissipating the anger and outbursts. Breathe your Word of love and strength over and through Sharon, now and the challenging months ahead. You are my God, and I give thanks to You; You are my God, I exalt You.

Request: For quite some time, Roger has suffered with stomach and knee issues (hard to walk). He’s recently undergone various diagnostics to determine and address the gastric issues and another concerning matter: lumps in his arm. He needs God’s help and comfort.

Prayer: God’s grace and healing. Lord, our Great Physician, please step in and heal where others have failed. Bring forth the answers and right treatments—unless you choose to speak healing supernaturally. Sit with Roger so he knows you are with him, guiding, revealing, loving on him. And for those deep needs within him that no one can see or knows but you, please breathe deliverance and strength. Be glorified, our King. In Yeshua’s blessed name.

My salvation and my glory rest on God; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people. Pour out your hearts before Him; God is a refuge for us.

Request: Tony, 86, is ill with kidney issues—they’re functioning at 14%. If they go any lower, he must be put on dialysis.

Prayer: God, our hope. God, our shelter. Sweet King who sees and cares for His people, please stretch out your hand and send healing to Tony, reviving his kidneys and restoring normal function. Keep him alert, nourished, hydrated, and surrounded by those who love and care for him. May your presence bless his soul and give his restful, restorative sleep. In Jesus’s healing name.

Request: Arly has had complications from a hysterectomy and enduring much pain. She needs God’s intervention for healing.

Prayer: God’s mercy and restoration. Adonai, you and you along hold us, care for us. Please spread your merciful wings and cover Arly, releasing your healing, giving her comfort, full relief from the pain, and your voice nurturing her soul through the process. Please give her doctors understanding and guide them in medical excellence to help her. And may she come to know her Jewish Messiah and rejoice at what you’ve done to bless her. In Yeshua’s redemptive, holy name.

On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.

Request: While working on her nursing degree and caring for her hubby and four children, Mary recently started a home care job with flexible hours. It certainly will help with concerning fiscal needs. But she needs prayer caring for the dementia patients at the facility who can become quite combative.

Prayer: God’s protection and abundant provisions. King of Heaven and all creation, thank you for blessing Mary with this job. Please continue to watch over her children, every family need, every part of her nursing studies, and every hour on the job. Surround her with angelic protection and discernment to know how to respond in each situation. Shield Mary and her family in your holiness. In the blessed name of Jesus.

Request: God’s confirmation on certain concerns, His provision for a stable residence, and His healing of her tailbone and swelling from a slip on the ice.

Adonai Tzva’ot, Lord God of Hosts, thank you for watching over J.A. throughout her faith journey across the U.S. May you continue to guide her, make clear your desires, and usher in the appointed place to call home. A place to grow more, serve you more, and grow relationships. Please place your life-giving hands on her body, her tailbone area, her finances, her vehicle, her getting up and lying down. Request: Changes and challenges continue to surround L.Q. She seeks God’s guidance, protection, wisdom, provisions, and favor in finding a new apartment for her and her daughter as well as favor in her new tutoring business for students on the spectrum—and His covering on the seeds of faith sown into her daughter and son.

Prayer: Smooth the waters. Clear the path amid the rapids. Blessed Redeemer, walk across the waves and hold your daughter. Lead her and teach her how to ride the rapids of life, protected in your hand, guided by your Word, and always ensconced by your love. May she and her daughter find a calm and rest within and without because of your presence and your Holy Spirit’s counsel and gentleness. Bless the work of her hands and her service to you, now and all the days of her life. In Yeshua’s gloriously beautiful name.

Request: God’s hand has been on Michael, who we’ve prayed for before. He’s doing better regarding his long-term troubling health conditions and their effects on his spiritual, emotional, mental life. But more prayer support is needed.

Prayer:Full deliverance. God’s continual covering. Abba, may your Light arise and flood Michael with your hope, healing, deliverance, and Word. May healing from your throne pour over him, reviving his soul. And may every spiritual stronghold be demolished, every taunting of the enemy, silenced and removed. Lord, you are everything Michael needs. Guard him on all sides and in all ways. Fill him with your presence to overflowing. In Jesus’s majestic name.

Light shines in the darkness for the upright; He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous.

Request: Each of these women are battling cancer and need God’s presence on every level—and faithful prayer support to help them make it through each day.

Prayer:God’s strength. God’s encouragement and healing breath. Holy King, who is like you? High and lifted up, Mighty. Kari’s, Andrea’s, Vee’s, and Charlene’s cancer and needs are each different, but You know them deeply. Each heartache, each moment of concern, pain, and fear. Please carry them, speak to them in special, deep ways that soothe and heal. May your name be on their lips and your healing wings wrapped sweetly and steadfastly around them 24/7. But right now, the love task before our King is a return to reverence . . . of Him, for Him. It begins with a bowed soul posture, repentance, daily surrender, and a trembling of His Word (Isaiah 66:2). That helps our spiritual ears and eyes stay sensitive to His still, quiet-like voice and heavenly leading.

 

Call to Him from the secret place of your soul, inviting Him into the untouched, fallow ground, hidden crevices. Cry out to be cleansed and stripped of self-focus. Pant after Him, honoring His Name and glory. Seek His face with a humbled heart, willing to battle in prayer in new ways for the critical hour of human history we are in.

Prayer Warriors: Please pray for a fellow prayer team member’s family and all those involved! Benny’s brother and sister are being evacuated due to the fires in the Pacific Palisades and Altadena. As of this writing, the now three major wildfires—the Palisades Fire, the Eaton Fire and the Hurst Fire—are raging with 0% contained.

PRAYER. Abba, the life-threatening winds are frightening and compounding things. Please stretch out your Glory hand of protection and shelter them and every one of the 30,000+ and growing who are being forced to leave their homes. Guard their lungs and bodies, the young, the old, and the infirmed. Keep people calm and compliant so medical and fire teams can get through traffic and other highways quickly, efficiently, and safely. May your mighty hand also rest on every first responder and all medical and fire teams. Please deliver wisdom and understanding to every leader so there are safe passages, and help leaders know how to handle the aftermath. And please shelter the animals, Father, your creation. Answering God’s call to His Body of Believers to pray for B’nai Israel (Children of Israel) worldwide, for Jerusalem’s protection/shalom, and for Israel as her enemies on the world stage rage against her.

PRAYER. God’s unfailing protection. His unbreakable promises. His mercies and power. Mighty King of Israel, we bow before your greatness, humbled by your majesty, your glory, your radiant robes that fill the throne room. Holy One of Israel, please stretch out your glory tallit over your people and nation Israel, over your city, Jerusalem, the apple of your eye, over every hostage, family members, Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu (for the heavy task you’ve appointed and anointed him for), governmental and military leaders and military personnel on all levels.

Gather them in your arms, speak words of comfort, deliverance, encouragement, healing to their souls, their minds, their bodies, their emotions. Help them STAND as one with You against the hatred, lies, and evil strategies attempting to destroy them.

Bless them with eyes to see You going before them, unfailing, invincible, unwavering. Faithfully true. A pillar of strength and holiness. A glorious, Holy Fire of righteousness and justice.

Lift them up, speak gently to their souls, wooing them to your WORD, to Yeshua, who has covered them with the highest gift of love . . . Himself.

Mary heeded the call for a nursing career and has done well in her studies so far—even with four children and a hubby whose work takes him away two days a week. But now she must be at a facility for the 16-month core nursing program phase. We need God to make a way for her to complete the calling so kiddos are protected, babysat, properly housed, and where family and nursing demands flow well.

PRAYER. God’s Provision. Bountiful Resources. Cleared Path. Behold The Great I AM! All things are in His hands . . . the God of Israel who parted the sea, made a way in the wilderness, brought forth manna from Heaven and water out of a rock. Blessed is your Name! Adonai, please reveal your love and power in this situation. You alone know the details, latest housing challenges, and all the rest. Move in your might so Mary and her family are overwhelmed by your wonder and your caring for their needs. Reveal yourself in new ways that bolster their faith. And may what you’ve appointed her to do will be completed by Your Hand, Your Purpose, Your Glory. In Yeshua’s Name.

Major shifting for L.Q. who is a longtime believer—but life is not easy as a single mom and gets compounded by health issues. She needs God to step into her life in huge ways . . . for housing, work, ministry leading, children concerns, and more.

And may your waterfall of glory flow through her life uninterrupted, cleansing the murky waters and binding the enemy’s disruptions. Please usher in clear thinking aligned with you, healing on all levels, and release a steady stream of tranquility on her and her family no matter what is going on around her. Be glorified, Lord. Three vital needs submitted by one of our fellow prayer warriors:

Her dear friend Erica has visited church before but isn’t saved. May God woo her heart.

Another friend of hers—Laura—needs our prayer support big time: Laura’s mother (not saved) is battling stage 4 cancer. Meanwhile, Laura’s son Marlon (25 years old and saved) is tempted to return to marijuana for his PTSD. He previously had completed a drug-deliverance course. These days, he stays at home, no desire to get out of bed many days. Laura’s heart is broken.

Compounding that, Laura’s husband Luigi wants a divorce. Allegedly, he feigned salvation so she’d marry him. His deception along with her son and mother’s issues are overwhelming.

PRAYER. God’s Shalom. His Justice. His Healing on all levels. Almighty God, Prince of Peace, Righteous Judge, step into Laura’s life, home, and those she loves. Stir hearts toward you. Expose lies so they may lead to repentance.

For Laura’s mom and Erica, we ask that you open their eyes and soul to the truth of Yeshua and their need for salvation. May His name be on their lips and come alive in their hearts casting out all holds the enemy placed there. And may your mercies, healing, and grace fall on her mother’s health.

For Marlon, we ask that you strengthen his soul. Remind him of your goodness, your power, your character, and the eternity up ahead. Bind the enemy’s influence, set this captive free in the Name of Yeshua, the Name Above ALL Names.

For Laura, we ask for you to wrap your arms around your daughter, letting her weep on your chest, knowing that you are aware and holding every tear in your faithful, loving hands. Abba, speak healing and restoration to her soul and life that eclipses the betrayal Luigi caused. And may you pierce his heart with the love and truth of the Gospel, bringing him to repentance before your throne. We ask for calm and rightness in this family by the name of our Messiah, Yeshua.

Her heart meds are working well and her medical issue is being handled. She’s seeking God’s continued favor and protection.

Help her along her journey with you to follow as you lead. Pick her up and breathe continual healing through her body and revival to her soul. Sometime in January, Kari will be meeting with doctors to determine how she’ll treat her returning cancer (female anatomy).

PRAYER. God’s Mercy. God’s Healing. God’s Discernment. Holy Father, Wonderful Counselor, rain down your mercies on Kari and her family. Make your way clear, undeniable, filled with your grace and heavenly strength. Rise up within her . . . lead her, gird her, flood her with your Presence and love that are like no other. A Presence and love that are unshakeable. And give her the scripture that confirms your leading, and please confirm it many ways so she has full confidence in her spiritual hearing. We look to you and no other. In Yeshua’s Name that is filled with the true Peace that is not of this world.

Andrea is seeking God’s direction on how to better handle her daily life while on treatment for stage 4 breast cancer so she can be blessed with an enhanced quality of life.

PRAYER. God’s Encouragement. His Healing. His Wisdom. As I was initially preparing this, I saw God’s hand cupped with Andrea standing in it. Abba, she is in your hands, secured by your love, guarded, strengthened. Please reveal the next steps so she can have a reprieve but keep the cancer shrunk/inactive as it is. But with a word from you, even that will be gone. All things are in your hand. May your Words of Life revive her, restore her, bless her in unexpected ways. Our hearts are heavy. You are all we have, Lord. What can we pray but your holy name, Yeshua? May it be the very breath within her at all times. In Yeshua’s fragrant Name.

One of our prayer partners submitted Charlene’s name. Charlene recently learned she has breast cancer and will undergo chemo and then surgery in the summer.

PRAYER. God’s Presence. God’s Hope. God’s Healing Breath. Adonai, please reveal to Charlene that you are her strong tower, her Rock of salvation, the healer of her soul and body . . . may the power of the cross arise within her, calm and strengthen her, and may your will be done for your glory and Charlene’s good that she may walk with you all the days of her life. Let them be many. May your mercy and grace revive her. In Jesus’s brilliant Name.

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and He delivered them out of their distresses.

We’ve prayed for Vee in the past . . . she’s in her senior years, a wonderful mother/grandmother, and dealing daily with her returned cancer, which has spread. It’s physically and emotionally draining. She needs God’s covering and our prayer support.

PRAYER. God’s Comfort. His Spirit. His Strength. Lord God, You whose name is mercy, please give Vee a special touch from your hand. Words of life that lift her soul. Heavenly Hope that carries her through each moment . . . and sweet reminders of the promise of what lies ahead for those in Christ Jesus. Bless her with your Presence, strength, and healing touch. We know she is precious in your sight. In Jesus’s glorious Name.

I.B. has bladder cancer and is to begin a unique treatment this month. Uncertainty and nervousness are at high levels, quite understandably. She needs God’s strength and mercy throughout this lengthy treatment—able to tolerate the process without incident—and she needs salvation under the cross of Yeshua.

PRAYER. God’s Healing intervention. His Salvation. His Chesed. Abba, only you truly direct our paths. Please reach out to I.B. so she can find rest in your Name, find comfort in your faithfulness, and witness your divine intervention for your glory. And please help her hubby to tend to every need, giving the sweet support she’ll need. And may she come to know the loving, mighty hand of your salvation gift in Yeshua. In the Name of Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua.

May those who seek my life be put to shame . . . and be turned back and dishonored.

We prayed for her/two daughters to get new housing. Answered prayer! But now they’re under spiritual enemy attack and need us to battle in prayer for their divine coverage.

PRAYER. God’s hand. His power. His Word. Lord, help us to stand with Josie in faith, the strongest spiritual weapon we have to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We believe in the power of the cross, its conquering Spirit to overcome he who is in the world. Abba, please bind the mouth of those threatening her, those using witchcraft to come against her and her family. May the brilliance of Your robes fall upon Josie and the girls, protecting them, hemming them in, an impenetrable fortress. In Jesus’s sweet, powerful Name that is above ALL others.

We’re standing firm in continued prayer for Michael who has had some relief and doing better (Praise God and His goodness!) from the long-term troubling health conditions and their effects on his spiritual, emotional, mental life.

PRAYER. The Light of the World. God’s Light of life. His lamp on our path. Adonai, call out to the depths of Michael’s soul with soothing words, healing words, words of deliverance and strength. Cast out any darkness and flood his soul with your holy, pure light. Raise him to new levels of understanding in your Word that comfort him, and please release a sweet fragrance from heaven to confirm your Presence, your hand on him, and encourage him each day as you walk with Him. Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

Maureen was sick on/off during the holidays and now has RSV. She now is developing a symptom that may cause her to be hospitalized. We need God’s grace and intervention.

PRAYER. The Hem of His Garment. The Gentle Brush of His Spirit. His Provisions and Healing. Lord, if you say the word, your daughter will be healed in your way. We pray for your mercies to cover her, your chesed (lovingkindness, love between you and her) to carry her, your hand to lift her closer to you, and for your voice to ripple gently through her, encouraging and healing. Please, Abba, ease her breathing, weaken and shorten the the life of this virus. And please provide everything she needs along the way—and send angelic protection and help throughout the day and night. And in your mercy, please keep her from being hospitalized. #1. UPDATE: ANONYMOUS

A fellow prayer warrior—Anonymous—continues to grow stronger after her cardiac procedure that brought her near Heaven’s door. She’s back at her home now, taking it easy and grateful for God’s hand in her life. Your love and prayer support meant much.

 

#2. UPDATE: MICHELLE

Michelle is feeling blessed. She’s regained some “distant” sense of smell—and doing better so far on her new injectable treatment for the nasal congestion that has contributed to her loss of smell, nasal congestion, asthma, and increasing allergies, lowered quality of life. Thank you, prayer family, for caring and lifting Michelle in prayer.

 

#3. UPDATE: SHIRLEY (“SHIRL”)

Christmas joy! Shirl is still going strong after her surgery to remove fluid on the brain so she can walk again—90% improved and walking well! She just needs a slight adjustment to the shunt. I am your servant, give me understanding so that I may know your testimonies.

Possibly on the spectrum (ASD), L.Q. needs God’s strength, wisdom, and strategies on how to maneuver social issues and social demands at work and other venues. She lives, learns, engages, comprehends differently than other people. Even L.Q.’s elementary school daughter (who knows the Lord) needs help and counseling, fallout from the parental divorce, shared custody, and subsequent different spiritual influences.

PRAYER. Reliance on Him, His Word, His character. Who is there but you, God? Only you can sort these pressures, guide us along critical life roads strewn with land mines. Please, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), run deep in L.Q.’s soul, releasing and calling forth the clinical, physical, spiritual roadmap that she can understand and calmly, comfortably, assuredly follow and walk in. Jesus, please rise in and through all of this for your daughter and your GLORY. In your Name, Lord Messiah, we pray.

We continue to stand in the gap for Kari. She’s had cancer in the past (female anatomy) and now it’s growing again. In January she’ll be meeting with doctors so she can determine how she’ll treat this next phase.

PRAYER. His holy tent, His wings stretched, sheltering, defending. Redeemer, Restorer, we come before you, carrying the name of our sister Kari on our lips and on our heavy hearts. You alone know the course she should take. May your will become hers. Please cradle Kari in your Presence, your strength, your grace, your healing words, your love. Reign down your mercies on her, her children, her husband, her family. In Jesus’s faithful, powerful name.

Psalm 119:175

Let my soul live that it might praise you; And let your ordinances help me.

Matt is 41 years old, bipolar with some emotional issues when not on meds. He’s back in a Utah city jail (mental health unit), 400 miles from our family. It’s as if a millstone was been wrapped around our hearts. We have no communication unless he calls—which is less and less. Apparently he’s just staying in his cell, lying around.

PRAYER. His might, His joy, His unexpected deliverance. Holy King, we fall before you, weakened, saddened, clueless. We seek your face and dunamis-powered intervention—making a way where there appears to be none. Rekindle your Word in Matt’s soul, reminding him of what he learned and loved in his earlier years. Bring solid Bible studies that honor our Messiah from biblical teachers with a heart and understanding of bipolar individuals. Please, my Messiah, bless Matt’s soul to praise you. Bring forth your tangible presence for companionship, protection, learning, spiritual maturing, healing, and deliverance.

Show mercy on your young daughters by removing the hardness growing on their souls. Bernie—one of our prayer warriors we’ve prayed for prior—is doing wonderfully after her hip surgery. But her family is being torn apart. Her son, Thomas, is back in jail after attacking his brother David and trying to hurt his mom’s hip. Thomas has become dangerous—and believing he has the devil in him. The family is emotionally stressed, but know the Lord has protected them.

PRAYER. His eyes are on the sparrow, His hand extends protection and imparts righteousness. King of kings, please intervene in every aspect of this painful situation. You know the reality of Thomas’s soul condition. Abba, move in sweeping ways to bind up the enemy, easing Bernie’s family’s fears . . . and cleansing Thomas’s heart, mind, soul. Gene sought God for answers to his gut-related issues. His October 30’s outpatient surgery revealed a rare stone occurrence, so he’ll have meds and periodic diagnostics to keep check on things. God is lovingly watching over Gene. Thank you all for your prayer support. Please keep Gene in your prayers for protection and complete healing going forward.

 

#2. J.A.’s ANSWERED PRAYER

J.A. asked for our prayer support—she needed God’s leading as she faithfully follows him, traveling the US. The Holy Spirit gave her a special word and it was fulfilled wonderfully! Thank you for standing in prayer for J.A. God is gracious!

 

#3. ANONYMOUS’s ANSWERED PRAYER

October 14’s SOS PRAYER ALERT was for a fellow prayer warrior-Anonymous-who underwent a cardiac procedure that day and was at Heaven’s door. But God stepped in and she is now at home at her daughter’s and resting in the healing hands of our Lord, gracious, mighty, faithful. Thank you, prayer warriors, for your love and prayer support.

A ways back we prayed for Cathy who had just discovered she had breast cancer.

It is gone! Please keep her in your prayers because on November 14 she is having a hysterectomy. Adonai, May your garment of healing surround Cathy and may your hand be on the surgeon/medical team and throughout this entire procedure, on to a complete and safe and speedy recovery. #2. Shirl: Surgery Thursday/November 7

Jeremiah 17:14

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.

After months of waiting and delays, Shirl’s surgery to remove fluid on the brain so she can walk again is fast approaching. She really needs our prayer support.

Abba, please release your presence into this delicate surgery. Protect and bless every step, down to the infinitesimal details for Shirl’s complete recovery, walking once again with strength and her mind, recall, and memory working well. And may you, precious King, get ALL the glory and honor. In Jesus’s sweet Name, the NAME above ALL names.

 

3. Michelle: New Treatment November 13

Lamentations 3:22

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end.

Michelle has been battling loss of smell, nasal congestion, asthma, and increasing allergies for quite some time. Her medical team believes she’s a candidate for an injectable treatment for the nasal congestion that should calm some of the asthma as well. The first treatment is November 13 (Wednesday) at 1 pm.

Gracious Father, you alone are the answer. Apart from you, we can do nothing. Please stretch out your hand and show mercy on your daughter Michelle, helping her body to heal without experiencing side effects or other issues with this treatment. Draw her closer to you that she may know deeper and sweeter levels of your presence and love. In Yeshua’s wonderful name.

But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

Kari has had cancer in the past (female anatomy) and now it’s growing again.

Merciful King, we come with heavy hearts, setting dear Kari at your feet. She needs your strength, your grace, your healing words, your love flowing over her and through her. Please comfort her and guide her and wrap your arms around Kari and her entire family as they look to you for mercy and healing. Hear me, O LORD; for your lovingkindness is good; turn to me according to the multitude of your tender mercies.

Recently retired, Doug was on our last prayer list. The cancerous spots on his skin are being surgically removed vs. his having chemo treatments. But the doc said the spots will probably return.

Adonai, you alone are Doug’s Redeemer, Deliverer, Strength. You’ve seen all that he has gone through, medically and the battles within. Please come and sit with your son, draw him deeper into your love and your Word. Reign in his soul, body, mind. May you place your mighty hand on his body wherever it is ill and speak life . . . transformation . . . wholeness. In Yeshua’s glorious Name.

As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!

Michael has had a long siege, bearing a heavy yoke of troubling health conditions and their effects on his life. He needs God’s covering, mercy, healing. And his parents seek wisdom from the Lord and a special word from Him of how to best help Michael.

El Elyon, our God Most High. Only you know the depths of despair, the struggles, Michael has faced. And only you know the weight he carries from the weariness of the battle. Father, we carry our tears as we carry Michael before you. With a word from you, he will be delivered and healed and strengthen. We pray that you would bind up the despair and demolish the stronghold the enemy has had on him physically, mentally, and spiritually. Lord we ask for your mercy upon mercy upon mercy. We also ask that you would release wisdom with understanding and speak a word of knowledge to his parents whose souls seek your voice. Please rise up from your throne and embrace Michael with your presence and your goodness. In Jesus’s mighty Name.

Craig’s 98-year-old father recently passed away. The mourning is weighing on Craig. He’s seeking our prayer support and God’s grace to get through.

Precious Savior, only you know if Craig is a believer or if his father was. So we first pray for your peace that comes from knowing you and walking in the truth of the Gospel to overtake Craig’s life. May the beauty and the joy of your redemptive plan give him hope and a purpose as he goes forward. We ask that you would stretch the blessing over her even further to open up new resources that will easily cover the new rent. We stand on your faithfulness and your Word and your love. SOS PRAYER ALERT: ISRAEL

Thank you, LORD, for for the victory you will give Israel. For all those you have allowed to survive. For all those who you have saved and are saving and will save, opening up your Book, your Word, that they may know the glorious gift you have given us and your redemptive plan in Jesus, our Messiah. “He has helped his servant Israel in remembrance of his mercy.”—Luke 1:54

#1. Jessica

From our last prayer list: Jessica, a near-21-year-old, went to church a few weeks ago and received the LORD. And she just got a job! May the Lord continue to guide her and make a way for her to attend the young adult group at church to build her walk in Him.

 

#2. Maria

From our July 14 prayer list: Maria (in Spain) was in depression and is being treated for her attempted suicide. She’s now volunteering at the Red Cross. May God turn her heart toward him, to believe/receive His reward in Jesus for salvation and may he help her understand that He Alone is the true desire of her heart and the answer to her every need.

 

#3. Baby Matty in Philippines

From our last prayer list: Baby Matty made it through the cleft surgery! But he now needs healing for an infection from the surgery. LORD, thank you for your kindness in helping Matty. Please now strengthen him for this next surgery, which we’re told is going to be more traumatic to his little body. Clothe him with your mercy.

 

#4. Alexandria

From our last and prior prayer list: Alexandria is a young woman who is incarcerated but trying to get her life back on track. She just finished her high school degree while inside and had her graduation on 8/14/2024! LORD, thank you for encouraging Alex along the way to this milestone. May she now turn her eyes to you. Help her soul to hunger for you and your Word . . . and not be fooled and lured by the world’s mindset and spiritual darkness surrounding her in that environment.

#5. Jamie

Psalm 25:6

Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.”

Bittersweet update. With God’s grace and bathed in your prayers (thank you all so much), Jamie made it through the hip socket surgery. He was to be moved to a rehab center this week, which was delayed due to a setback with pulmonary edema. But now the rehab isn’t going to happen. His stage 4 lung and liver cancer have spread even more . . . and he’s hoping to return home for at-home hospice care.

We bow before you, LORD, grateful for helping Jamie through the hip-socket surgery. Blessed Redeemer, this cancer continues to spread and is weakening him, unless you choose to step in. But it’s your will, your timing, your holy desire that we seek. Please stretch out your wings and draw Jamie beneath them, gently, mercifully, calmly, in your quiet love, as he looks to you along this final leg of his journey down here. Please strengthen him and his family (mom, brothers, children/grandchildren, cousins, etc.) during this time, especially the family members caring for him in this hospice state. And may their time together during these days be blessed and precious in your sight.

Thank you for interceding for Jeanelle’s SOS Prayer Alert. When diagnostics showed an abnormality in the uterus, she underwent an endometrial biopsy. Please keep praying—she has a hysterectomy scheduled for September 30.

O Glory of all, Majestic King your eye is on your daughter who has walked faithfully with you for years. Let her see the greatness of your hand in this, in unexpected, wondrous ways. May your Name be lifted up, be exalted, our King.

You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.

For reasons unknown, D. suffers periodically with a respiratory infection.

May the power of the cross—its healing, deliverance, life-giving, and boundless love—emanate throughout her body for restoration, encouragement, and a reprieve from this ongoing condition. Help her rise up, strengthened by your chesed (lovingkindness) and your voice within the crevices of her soul that is affirming your love.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.

Isobel is struggling with discouragement fueled by spiritual warfare.

Abba, cast out the darkness and flood her soul with your Light, your calm, your rest. Silence the enemy’s voice, his lies, and stretch out your hand to stop the fiery demonic darts attacking her.

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.

Allie (friend of Daniela, #6 on this list) has been diagnosed with bone cancer. The shock of the news is disorienting . . . the suddenness of an unexpected life turn is jarring.

LORD GOD MOST HIGH, cover Allie with your garment of comfort. Release healing from your throne according to your will. May the excellence of your ways be evident in every medical treatment and care . . . and we seek your supernatural intervention for your glory and Allie’s good.

Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright of heart!

Vee (a believer in Jesus her Messiah and a Catholic) has battled cancer many times, but now in her senior years, the cancer has returned and spread to her liver and elsewhere. Many days she prays for Jesus to call her home to Him.

Sweet Shepherd, our Deliverer, let your strength and mercy rain down from your throne and envelope Vee in this difficult, draining fight. Carry her in your arms, help her to feel your comforting presence, and cover her with your shalom (completeness and a peace not of this world).

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We’ve prayed for Bernie’s anticipated hip surgery—now she finally received the date: October 10 at 9 am Eastern time.

Glorious King, guide every step, from these preparatory days through the actual surgery and rehabilitation time frame. Please draw her closer to you with blessed assurance as you help her handle every detail ahead of time at home and for her family’s needs so her mind, soul, and spirit are at rest in you.

Ginny needs healing & salvation. She’s 40 years old but has multiple health problems and is always in and out of the hospital.

El Gibbor, our Mighty God, Ginny must be weary and frightened . . . and perhaps, hopeless. Please step into her life in such a way that the wonder of your Gospel message with its blessed hope (Jesus) revive Ginny spiritually and physically.

Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me! O LORD, make haste to help me!

In her 30s, she greatly needs God’s redemptive hand, salvation in Jesus, and deliverance from the demonic pull and confusion of a Woke culture and family.

King of kings, there is none like you. Erica’s soul needs your cleansing, your hand to cut the ties that are binding her, your true freedom in Jesus. Let your Truth, Life, and Way surround her on every side so her spiritual eyes are awakened to You.

Lamentations 3:22-23

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Diagnostics on this man, a believer in Jesus, revealed “something” in the pancreas—possibly a stone. Further tests will be run for clarification and next steps.

El Elyon, our God Most High, you are the great Revealer. Please give wisdom and understanding to the doctors so this man will gain relief from the condition he’s been living with since late last year. And by your hand and love, may he be healed.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Battle on. When God moves, the enemy stirs. God has ushered positive, new things to prayerfully ignite a new chapter in Kevin’s life—going back to a Christian university for a bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies with emphasis on Global Ministries. And he started his new job and likes it. Now he needs God’s covering and to stay armored up against the enemy’s wiles to derail things.

LORD, protect these gifts from you, your lovingkindness is too wonderful for us to comprehend. Please continue to help Kevin in his walk with you, in his work, and in his family. Gird him and raise up his soul for your glory.

Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

 

(a) James, a believer, is seeking God’s open doors and guidance.

Abba, hear the heart of your son, James, and lead him forward in your Word, growing his spiritual maturity and firming the ground beneath him per your will and purpose.

 

(b) Cole is James’s longtime friend. Cole needs salvation and the right truck-driving work so he can eventually leave town for a better place.

Change is the word, LORD. Change in his thinking about you, change in his soul through redemption from Jesus, and change in his work opportunities that take him to better, healthier (spiritually and otherwise) living.
